The Cygnus wireless alarm system has been installed on St Stephens Towers – a £45m revamp which will provide multi-storey accommodation for more than 700 students.
Cygnus alarm devices have been installed to protect workers and p during work on the site, which when complete, will provide purpose-built apartments with social spaces featuring a cinema, gymnasium, study rooms, and a series of lounge spaces for the students at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the Norwich University of Arts. The Cygnus System that has been installed on site includes a Control Panel, numerous Fire Call Point Alarms, and combined Fire Call Point and First Aid Alarm units.
We’re pleased to be working on this project and supplying a range of products to ensure maximum site safety. As the project progresses, the Cygnus system can be moved around to the different storeys, thus providing a flexible, cost-effective, and reliable solution, while an AED ensures workers are protected if emergency responders are unable to get to the site in time.
