Cygnus protects the largest regeneration project outside of London

The Cygnus Wireless Alarm System is maximising fire safety for workers, as the largest regeneration scheme of its kind outside of London commences.

The Keepmoat Homes NorthBridge housing development, at the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area in Glasgow is a £250 million development set to transform the city.

Due for completion in 2021, the development will feature 826 new homes, numerous retail units, a new school campus and community spaces including lots of public open space to completely transform the area.

In partnership with Keepmoat Homes, Bull has been selected as the fire safety supplier for the site due to the high-strength connectivity and impressive signal range of the Cygnus alarm system.

The Cygnus system provides the ideal solution for the NorthBridge development as it can be moved around the site as it expands. The development is now fully equipped with a comprehensive range of fire safety equipment, including the Cygnus Fire Call Point Alarm, a range of fire extinguishers and fire trolleys, to protect both the site and its workers around the clock.

“Winning this major contract is testament to the impressive capabilities of our Cygnus Wireless Alarm System. We are proud to be working alongside Keepmoat to ensure fire safety is the number one priority throughout the development of the project.” – Bradley Markham, Director at Bull Products.

The Cygnus system is well-suited to large-scale developments such as this, thanks to its ability to operate in 15 zones with up to 32 devices per zone.
